Programme Details:
22nd October, 2025
9:00am Check-in, welcoming & introduction – Damian Goldvarg MCC ESIA & Clare Beckett-McInroy MCC ESIA
9:30 AM Session I: Systemic Issues affecting Supervision Practice – Damian Goldvarg MCC ESIA
We begin our exploration by surfacing systemic influences shaping how we show up in SUPERvision. This is an opportunity to reflect in current challenges leaders are facing, how coaches navigate discussions about them, and how supervisors support coaches in these conversations.
10:15 Session II: Using image cards in supervision & coaching for connecting with signature presence – Clare Beckett-McInroy MCC ESIA
Your signature presence is your unique way of being that enables you to co-create optimum conditions for your client work to have impact. In this session we will explore metaphorically ways that image cards can help us to connect with our signature presence. You will also have to opportunity to articulate your strengths by drawing on the collective wisdom in the room.
11:15 am Session III: Art, SUPERvision & Spirituality – Katie Drescher MCC ESIA & Catherine Finger PCC ESIA
In this session we invite you to explore reflective experiences using art and spirituality as symbolic, quiet bridges to inner knowing. Drawing on the emerging field of arts-based coaching and supervision, we explore how image can bypass habitual thought patterns, surface unconscious wisdom, and support deeper presence in supervision. Differentiating between personality, intellect, and spirit or soul, this session will also offer explorations of our inner landscape—inviting insights, values and beliefs to emerge and deeper connections to show up in our coaching and supervision. This creative, boundary-pushing approach challenges traditional paradigms and expands the possibilities of what reflective practice can be—catalyzing personal insight, professional growth, and spiritual integration.
12:30pm Lunch
1:30 pm Session IV: Hands-on Reflection-On/In-Action with LEGO® Serious Play® – Paul Sanbar MCC ESIA
This session enables you to explore hands-on thinking with your hands where bricks become language. Using LEGO® Serious Play®, we’ll reflect in and on action — building metaphors, surfacing insight, and making meaning visible through play. This is more than construction; it’s reconstruction of how we see ourselves, our SUPERvisees, and the systems we navigate. Bring your curiosity. Let your hands do the thinking.
3:00 pm Session V: GROUP SUPERVISION Facilitated by EMCC ESIA Supervisors who are ICF PCC / MCC
Come prepared with a topic, client or pattern around your work so that together, we can experience group supervision.
4:30 pm Reflective moment & closing with Dumi Magadlela PhD PCC drawing on the principles of Ubuntu and human connection in the digital age.
